ACPAluminum composite panel
Aluminum composite panel is a sandwich panel made by bonding a low-density polyethylene core between two aluminum coils at high temperature. It overcomes the flatness, weight, workability, color and condensation limits of conventional aluminum sheet, and is an interior and exterior building material with good thermal insulation and sound absorption. The surface is coated with PVDF, a highly durable fluoropolymer paint.

Features
Flatness
Roll manufacturing prevents warping and gives a flat surface, and the elastic core keeps the panel flat.
Thermal insulation
Low thermal conductivity and the high thermal resistance of the sandwich structure give good insulation.
Sound absorption and insulation
The composite structure withstands external impact and absorbs and blocks sound well.
Easy installation
Half the weight of ordinary sheet yet rigid, and light for its panel size, so it is easy to transport and install.
Durability and weatherability
Stability from high-temperature heat treatment and the chemical stability of the fluoropolymer coating keep it durable in harsh weather and under infrared and ultraviolet light.
Corrosion resistance
Aluminum forms a dense oxide layer as it oxidizes, which stops corrosion and makes it well suited to heavily polluted environments.
Lightweight
Weighs 1/2 to 1/3 as much as aluminum, steel, copper or stainless steel sheet of the same thickness, reducing the load on the building.

Frequently asked questions
How is an aluminum composite panel constructed?
It is a sandwich of low-density polyethylene bonded at high temperature between two aluminum coils, with a PVDF fluoropolymer paint finish.
What thicknesses and colors are available?
Silver on both sides in 3, 4 and 5 mm; ivory on both sides in 4 and 5 mm; black on both sides in 4 and 5 mm.
How much lighter is it than metal sheet?
It weighs 1/2 to 1/3 as much as aluminum, steel, copper or stainless steel sheet of the same thickness.
Can it be used outdoors as exterior cladding?
Yes. The PVDF fluoropolymer coating stays durable in harsh weather and under infrared and UV light, and the aluminum oxide layer stops corrosion, so it is used as exterior cladding.
