PTFETeflon (polytetrafluoroethylene)

Teflon (PTFE) is the most representative fluororesin, accounting for 60% of total fluororesin demand. It combines outstanding heat resistance, cold resistance, chemical resistance, low friction, non-stick behavior and electrical properties. It is mainly used where several of these are needed at once, such as heat resistance with electrical properties, chemical resistance with heat resistance, or non-stick behavior with heat resistance; typical uses are in the chemical and semiconductor industries, where chemical and solvent resistance is essential.
